Summary: This stay was a mixed bag. This hotel is old, so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but the place is in need of a refresh with a lot of scratches on the wall and carpeting that looks like its been mended a few times. The front desk people although professional seemed really disinterested in their jobs. On the plus side, they were very accommodating when I asked for a specific room location, an early check, and a late check out, but I think these were available because they weren't very booked or busy. There were some really basic amenities that I would've expected to see or changes that they could make to have made this a better stay including a hook near the shower for towels or clothes, slippers, a dresser for clothes, and an extra chair for the table in the room. On the really shocking negative end, I was surprised that such a higher end hotel using toilet paper that were essentially really thin sand paper. Also, the room that I booked said there was a balcony, but no pictures of the balcony. Turns out the reason why is that the balcony is a 2-foot-wide walkway with no place to sit, and the wall around the balcony partially obscures the views from a sitting position in your your room.
